The third stela records Tiglath-Pileser III’s second invasion of Israel between 734-732B.C. Around 80 years of peace passed until Tiglath-pileser III again turned against Israel.
Israelite prisoners and booty are led away with Tiglath-pileser shown at the bottom.
In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria came and captured Ijon and Abel-beth-maacah and Janoah and Kedesh and Hazor and Gilead and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali; and he carried them captive to Assyria (2 Kings 15:29).
