Titus ruled Roman Empire 79-81 AD
As commander of Roman forces in Palestine after the death of Nero, Titus ended the First Jewish-Roman War by besieging Jerusalem and destroying the second temple in AD 70.
The Titus arch commemorating this victory still stands in Rome today.
